ABSTRACT SUBMISSION & REGISTRATION for AE2009 now ONLINE!

Please follow the links from the AE2009 logo (top right) to submit your abstract and register for Aquaculture Europe 2009. Abstract submission is open until February 15th. Early bird registration (lowest possible fees) is open until May 15. Make the most of your AE2009 registration by becoming a member of EAS and taking advantage of the many benefits that go with it.

AE2008 A SUCCESS!

Lindsay Laird Student Award

The AQUATT Board announces the establishment of an annual student award to be entitled " THE LINDSAY LAIRD STUDENT AWARD for INNOVATION IN AQUACULTURE", to be awarded for the most innovative poster (in English) submitted by a student. The award was presented on the final day of the EAS conference in Krakow. More info...

CONSENSUS Final Stakeholder Meeting

More than 125 stakeholders from 19 countries gathered at the CONSENSUS workshop in Oostende to discuss trends and indicators for the sustainable development of European aquaculture. A SUMMARY REPORT and all presentations of the workshop are now online.

EAS creates new Thematic Group on shellfish

The new group - made up of EAS members - is addressing research topics that are relevant for developing shellfish culture in Europe and stimulating the formation of a corresponding research agenda. See here for more and join EAS to be a part of it.
