Italy: Comparative assessment of the environmental costs of aquaculture and other food production sectors

ROME.- The proceedings of the FAO/WFT expert workshop aimed at undertaking comparative analyses on the environmental cost of aquatic food production in relation to other terrestrial food production, held in Canada in 2006, are now available online.

"Comparative assessment of the environmental costs of aquaculture and other food production sectors: Methods for meaningful comparisons" include review papers from the participating experts on the various aspects of the environmental costs of aquaculture and agriculture.
